Disk defrag for non administrators in Windows server 2003
Is there a group policy or some way to allow non administrators to run disk defragment in a Windows 2003 server environment? Any help would be appreciated. This topic first appeared in the Spiceworks...

I am wondering why a non admin would need to do that. you can whilelist the application and allow it to be run, as far as i know. don't have a 2003 server to verify though.

that would be best.in group policy, not sure which version, you can setup a list of applciations that are allowed to be run. it should be easy to find on google. not sure if 2003 supports it though.
